YEIDA to Launch 6,000 Affordable Plots Near Noida International Airport
Overview
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch a major affordable housing scheme under the Yogi Adityanath government. This initiative aims to cater to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low-Income Groups (LIG), offering residential plots near the under-construction Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport).
Scheme Highlights
Total Plots: ~6,000 residential plots
Plot Size: 30 square metres each
Allotment Rate: ₹25,900 per square metre
Cost per Plot: ₹7.77 lakh
Target Beneficiaries: Economically weaker and low-income families
Purpose: To meet growing housing demand driven by infrastructure development and public interest in the airport project

Previous Demand
A prior scheme received 1.5 lakh+ applications, showcasing massive public interest.
Over 28,900 plots (ranging from 60 to 4,000 sq. metres) have already been allotted across Sectors 16, 17, 18, 20, and 22D.

Eligibility Criteria
Indian citizen, minimum age 18
Annual income must not exceed ₹3 lakh
One application per person only
Must not have been allotted any YEIDA flat/plot earlier

Residence Proof issued by State Government
Payment Terms
30% of the total amount (including registration & GST) is to be paid within 60 days of allotment
Transfer Restriction: Plots cannot be sold or transferred for 10 years
